Workshop Climate Services
University of Bucharest, in partnership with the National Meteorological Administration and the National Institute for Research and Development in Forestry – SCDEP Brașov, is pleased to invite you to a workshop dedicated to exploring the role of climate services in supporting climate change adaptation in Romania’s metropolitan areas.

Context:
Climate change is intensifying pressures on the availability and use of essential resources, generating complex and interconnected risks. Climate services provide relevant, accessible, and tailored information that is essential for informed decision-making.
Workshop objectives:
The event aims to facilitate dialogue between producers and users of climate services, identify the real needs of the stakeholders involved, and explore ways to diversify and integrate these services into planning and adaptation processes.
Target audience:
Representatives of public institutions, academia, non-governmental organizations, and the business sector interested in strengthening resilience and adapting to climate challenges.
The agenda includes:
- Contributions from authorities and experts
- Examples of best practices from European and national projects
- A discussion panel and interactive sessions
